Afternoon Lido Fun Fair at Lido Poolside
The afternoon was filled with laughter and excitement as we headed to the Lido Poolside for the Lido Fun Fair. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, vibrant decorations, and the delightful sound of music and games. We were greeted by a variety of fun activities, from carnival games to poolside contests, each promising a good time.
We enjoyed trying our hand at classic fair games, like ring toss, while savoring delicious fair-inspired snacks. The highlight of the afternoon was a spectacular demo by a bartender juggler. We watched in awe as the bartender deftly juggled bottles and shakers, performing incredible tricks and entertaining the crowd. The camaraderie and joy shared during the Lido Fun Fair made it an unforgettable afternoon.
Evening Dinner at the Main Dining Room
As the evening set in, we dressed up and headed to the main dining room for dinner. The elegant ambiance of the dining room set the stage for a memorable culinary experience. We were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff, who guided us to our beautifully set table.
The dinner menu was a gastronomic delight, offering a range of exquisite dishes crafted with precision and creativity. We started with a delicate appetizer, which was both refreshing and flavorful. For the main course, I opted for a tender, savory dish, served with creamy sides and seasonal vegetables. Each bite was a harmonious blend of rich flavors and perfect textures.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert. We indulged in a decadent stroopwafel cheesecake, its creamy texture and rich flavor satisfyingly complementing the evening’s dining experience. The evening was a perfect culmination of a day filled with fun and fine dining on our Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice cruise.
